Ugh, I feel it with you. Here’s my 2 cents. Be gentle and forgiving with yourself. (I’m going to say the yoga word alert). I have a daily yoga practice but I count anything I do that resembles yoga as my daily practice and check it off my list. Most days I get down on my May and go through a gentle breathing and stretching my spine and everything else routine for ten or fifteen mins. But something I stand by the warm stove stretch my arms above my head and that “there, yoga.” Done. I count any effort.
I also do this with my daily piano practice and other things I require of myself. Usually I put in a good hour or more but sometimes I don’t have it in me. So I do a little and count it as progress, pat myself on the back. Be kind. Thanks for your story.
