Thanks for writing. I am of the camp that says we need a funeral to grieve together. I do hate the $10000 my mom paid for hers, though. I plan on cremation and a home-based gathering for loved ones if I get a choice. No funeral homes with men in dark suits standing around and smelly funeral flowers. Ugh
