Here’s my thought. I am all for death cleaning. It’s only fair to the kids. But I want to suggest that they don’t need to fight over it all. My 2 sibs and I cleaned out Moms house- mom who seems to have done death collecting instead of cleaning-full of tons of assorted junk she wanted to save. We got a big dumpster, went through everything relatively easily and no arguing. If someone didn’t want to throw something in the dumpster they had to take it home. I am proud of how well we compromised, cooperated and worked together.
