Did you have a loving someone in your life? Father, sister, grandfather??? Who kept you going in the beginning? A teacher? Pastor? Neighbor. As a therapist I often had to piece together stories from clients without the benefit of an obvious loving parent, but who grew up and prospered. We need to learn - from somewhere- how to live ourselves.
